Sunday October 5th - Westchester Jewish Council Commemoration
On Sunday night October 5th, we will join together at a Westchester Community Wide Commemoration on the two year anniversary of the October 7th attacks in Israel to remember, to stand united and to honor the lives that have been lost and hear from witnesses who are on the frontlines of this horrific event in our present Jewish history.
Westchester Commemorates October 7th: Sunday, October 5th from 7:00-8:30pm at Temple Israel Center, 280 Old Mamaroneck Rd., White Plains, NY. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Registration is at https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/zvkwabn
Please Join ENOUGH to bear witness to the story of Nova Music Festival Survivor Din Tessler - October 9th at CHAPPAC
On October 7, Din was working as part of the security team at the Nova Music Festival. When the terrorist attack began Din ran for his life, ultimately hiding in a cactus bush for over nine hours. Unbeknownst to him, his best friend Bar Kupershtein was taken hostage. Bar is still being held in Gaza to this day.
Din speaks not from a place of division, but from deep humanity. Din's father is Jewish, his maternal grandmother is Christian, and his paternal grandfather is Muslim. His is a story of survival and resilience.
There is no charge to attend but registration is required.
