September 12, 2024Religious School Welcome Back Palooza
Wow! What a fantastic morning we had on Sunday, September 8! Over 200 people (60 Religious School families) came together to kick off the school year. Your participation set a positive and enthusiastic tone for the upcoming year, and your presence truly made the event a resounding success!
This special day was not just an ordinary event but a deep testament to the strength, unity, and warmth that defines the Shaaray Tefila Religious School community. The overwhelmingly positive vibe created an atmosphere filled with joy and community spirit.
It was a joy to see our children designing Israel-themed canvas tiles for our Israel Mural that will hang in our Religious School. They also made tzedakah boxes, and families painted Kalaniot clay flowers for our October 7 Memorial Garden. Families deciphered clues as they participated in our Temple scavenger hunt, taking selfies with objects found around our campus. We also had several sporting events happening, including a pick-up soccer game. Every activity offered fun and engagement while also serving a deeper purpose: to strengthen our bonds with one another.
I wanted to extend a special thank you to our Religious School teachers, Religious School Task Force, and Teen Madrichim, and all of our Temple Committees who joined in the day, including Social Action, Green Team, Communication, Holocaust Remembrance Committee, Sisterhood, Caring Committee, Membership Committee, Finance Committee, and CSS Security.
Your dedication and hard work were vital in this beautiful gathering. Your efforts created a welcoming and enjoyable environment that was valued by all.
As we proceed with the school year, let us carry the wonderful memories and community spirit from the Religious School Welcome Back Palooza into the school year. The bonds we form, and the collective positive vibe we experience will fuel a year filled with learning, growth, and more unforgettable moments.
Once again, thank you for making this day memorable. It was the perfect kickoff to what we anticipate will be an exceptional year.
