Sisterhood Year of Health kicked off with two special guest speakers

  • Liz Fornari M.S., OTR/L: Strong Start - Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Bio) Her early start classes are for all levels of development and an opportunity to meet other caregivers which is great for both you and your child. Take a moment and look into a class today at her studio in Chappaqua.

  • Sara Florio - OT, MS in Clinical Nutrition & Holistic Health Coach at TBP Fitness & Wellness (Bio) Great take-aways about caring for our bodies both nutritionally and to combat stress. try this tip every day: take a breath for 4 seconds/hold for 7 seconds and let out for 8 the 4/7/8 4-5 times once a day and see your stress melt away. Take a moment to learn about her business and see how she can help you achieve your goals.

We culminated with a totally zen meditation with Holly Concetta (bio) and her tibetan sound bowls.

It was self care that we usually don't take the time for and everyone who attended was overwhelmed by the  experience.

It was requested that we do it again so be on the lookout for another event with Holly. In the meantime go onto her website and sign up to stay in the loop for special classes.

Stay tuned for more healthy events with Sisterhood.
