Kristallnacht Commemoration

Friday November 8th at 7pm

Kristallnacht, called the "Night of Broken Glass" for the attacks suffered by the German Jewish community in 1938, is also known as "The Night the Holocaust Began." Temple Shaaray Tefila will host a teen-led and family-friendly Kristallnact commemoration during the Shabbat evening service, Friday, November 8 at 7pm.  The service takes a page from Temple Shaary Tefila's own history. It was written by Rabbi Chaim Stern of Temple Beth El in Chappaqua for the 50th anniversary of Kristallnacht at the suggestion of our own Rabbi David Greenberg, who spoke at the introductory service.  We hope you can join us and stand with us in solidarity.
