Israeli Film Festival

January 23rd at 8 pm

This is the first film in our 3-film Israeli Film Festival. Please be on the lookout for information about the next film in February. We look forward to seeing you on January 23rd to discuss The Band's Visit!

About The Band's Visit A deeply spiritual comedy about loneliness and the power of hospitality, a band comprised of members of the Egyptian police force head to Israel to play at the inaugural ceremony of an Arab arts center, only to find themselves lost in the wrong town. Overcoming ethnic barriers, the Egyptians find diversion and companionship with the Israelis through a pervading undercurrent of shared melancholy.
