January 18, 2024GREEN TEAM SAPLING SALE!
January 24th marks the beginning of Tu b’shevat- the special holiday which honors trees and reminds us, as Jews, of our duty to care for the natural world. This year, the Temple’s Green Team is hosting a wonderful tree planting opportunity for you and your family to invest in a greener future.
The Tu b’shevat Sapling Sale!
We are offering up a lovely selection of tree and shrub saplings – you can purchase to plant on your own property OR you can donate saplings to be planted on the temple grounds.
You can also purchase trees to be planted in Israel, as saplings of hope.
By participating in this sapling sale, you will be doing your part to grow more trees in New York, a part of future forests, for ourselves and for future generations.
