That’s what our members said about last year’s Civil Rights Journey and, in response to popular demand, we will be offering another opportunity for those who missed the first one.

This extended weekend provides a Jewish perspective on the American historic experience. You’ll meet people who were involved in the struggle, walk the Pettus Bridge in Selma, tour the Rosa Parks Museum, the new National Memorial for Peace and Justice (lynching memorial), the Legacy Museum, and attend Shabbat services in Montgomery, and more. This will be my sixth such trip, as organized by Etgar 36, and each visit has been transformational.
