More Than Two Dozen TST Members Considering Israel Trip!

More than two dozen TST members have already expressed interest in our Journey of Hope and Resilience, leaving for Israel March 7, with a first-timer pre-trip taking off March 5. Especially considering the historic events this week, Israelis are there for us to welcome us and tell us their stories. I think of the Hebrew Bible’s Psalm 122:

I rejoiced when they said to me,
We are going to the House of the God.
O Jerusalem, to which tribes would make pilgrimage,
To praise the name of God.

Psalm 122 was one of over a dozen or so Psalms of Ascent that our ancestors joyously chanted while ascending to Jerusalem to celebrate the Pilgrimage Festivals of Sukkot, Passover, and Shavuot. I hope you can join me on our ascent to Jerusalem in the spirit of Psalm 122, in prayer:

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
May those who love you be at peace..”
