Dear Friends, This coming Monday is the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. We celebrate the full moon of the Fall equinox and the fruits of the harvest. The Sukkah is a temporary structure that reminds us of the fragility of life. We fill the Sukkah with decorations from nature symbolizing life and hope. A Sukkah is not complete unless it’s filled with lots of friends and guests. We need you to bring your good spirits to garnish our Sukkah. Join us Monday at 6:30pm for a community service of music, song and laughter. We will also feast on delicious fresh fruits of the season to celebrate nature’s bounty. Please bring an appetite. Of course Lulav and Etrog will be provided! Looking forward to seeing you then. Chag Sameach! Happy Sukkot, Rabbi David Wilfond |
