A recap of the Joel Chasnoff event
November 12, 2025
Judaism teaches that each of us have the power to help repair the world (Tikkun Olam). During TST’s Month of Service, we invite every member to take part in at least one meaningful act of service (or more!): Here are a few ways to get involved:
- Participate in our Thanksgiving Food Drive – make a financial donation, or sign up to cook, shop, deliver, etc.
- Make sandwiches for our neighbors in need – contact Ira Russo for information.
- Volunteer with TST at the Community Center of Northern Westchester – signup to help on Saturday mornings (2 spots are available each week).
And remember, acts of kindness come in all sizes. You can brighten someone’s day by: volunteering at an animal shelter, helping an elderly neighbor, or writing thank-you notes to veterans. Explore our Social Action book for over 50 ideas to help you spread love and kindness all month long. And be sure to share your stories with the Social Action team at SocialAction@tst.org.
