Dear Temple Shaaray Tefila Family, As we enter the holy days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we extend our sincere greetings, filled with hope and inspired by our community’s resilience. This year, our message reflects growth and transformation as we continue to adapt to the profound changes that have reshaped our world since October 7th. These High Holidays mark the beginning of a new year and a chance to embrace the lessons learned from our collective experiences since that pivotal day. We have seen that we can have strength, compassion, and adaptability. Indeed, we are not the same Jewish educators or community that we were before. In the spirit of growth and transformation, we are reminded of the important role we play in teaching our children. They look to us for guidance, wisdom, and comfort, thereby entrusting us with the sacred task of shaping the future. This High Holiday season, let us renew our commitment to nurturing their hearts and minds, teaching them the values of kindness, respect, and understanding. These Days of Awe invite us to come together, reflect on the past, and look forward with intention and hope. Let us approach these High Holidays with open hearts and minds, ready to support each other in our collective and individual aspirations. Let us draw courage from our shared history and strength from our community, forging ahead into a future filled with promise and potential. We are on a journey together, a journey of healing, learning, and growing. As we stand together at the beginning of a new year, let us welcome the chance to write a new chapter of resilience, kindness, and hope. May we learn from the past, inspire one another in the present, and work collectively towards a brighter, more compassionate future. May this Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur bring you peace, fulfillment, and joy. May we all be inscribed in the Book of Life for a year of health and happiness. May we all grow in prosperity, love, and togetherness. Shanah Tovah. May it be a good and sweet year for us all, Your Education Team Patty Goldstick, Director, ECCRabbi Sandy Zisser, Director, Religious School |
