At the Jewish Holiday Table: An Evening of Food, Stories & Tradition

Temple Shaaray Tefila and UJA invite you to a special evening with Naama Shefi, founder of the Jewish Food Society, and Devra Ferst, co-author of The Jewish Holiday Table. Together, they will introduce this beautifully curated collection of 135 vibrant recipes, each paired with personal stories gathered by the Jewish Food Society—a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Jewish culinary heritage from around the world.

Jewish life has always been centered around the table, where family and friends gather to share food, traditions, and memories. The Jewish Holiday Table reflects more than three thousand years of love and loss, culture and change. Each dish captures the spirit and soul of what is served in Jewish homes on Jewish holidays, offering a meaningful connection between past and present through food.
