Join us during the month of Elul, the 28 days before Rosh Hashanah, as our congregation joins together to reflect on the past year and prepare spiritually and physically for the year to come.

Beginning on August 21st, Shaaray Tefila will host a multitude of programs founded on Jewish values to foster self-renewal, personal growth and community connections.

Experience Elul’s innovative programming will be hands-on and spiritual, for all ages, both in person and virtually on Zoom. Classes will consist of meditation, creating a sacred space at home, interpreting the prayer book, baking, crafts, games and social action projects.

The Hebrew month of Elul 5780 begins on August 21st and runs through September 18th. Elul, an acronym for Song of Songs 6:3 ani le-dodi ve-dodi li אני לדודי ודודי לי - I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine - reminds us to examine our relationship with G-d, our community, and ourselves.
