“JEWISH HISTORY: FROM KING DAVID TO BEDFORD CORNERS”
Three thousand years ago, in king David’s Jerusalem, an experiment was undertaken that would come to be called
“Judaism” and that would reshape life across the globe. Over the millennia, as it has grown and changed and expanded,
it has seen three spiritual revolutions, each in the aftermath of an exile. We’ll study that fascinating pattern of exile and
revolution in the context of the forces that formed Judaism as we know it, and the ancient events that continue to exert
modern influence.
