Yom Kippur Food Drive
Each year at this time, the families of our congregation collect food to ease hunger within our own communities. The food goes to the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry and the Community Center of Northern Westchester.
Bring Food to High Holiday Services or Directly to the Temple
As you arrive at services on Rosh Hashanah, you will be given an empty grocery bag or you may fill one of your own bags with items from the Wish List below. Please return the filled bags at Yom Kippur morning services or bring them to the Temple between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur .
Food Wish List
- Healthy Cereal (Hot/Cold)
- Canned Tuna/Chicken
- Canned Fruit or Dried Fruit
- Canned Vegetables
- Pasta or Rice
- Cooking Oil
- Beans (Canned or Dried)
- Soups (Low Sodium)
- Peanut Butter
- Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
Please check the expiration dates as we cannot accept expired food items.
Monetary Donation
You can make a monetary contribution directly to the Pantries. Every dollar you donate equals $4.00 of food purchases for these Pantries.
Please note on your donation that it is for the “Annual TST High Holiday Food Drive”.
