The class format: A gentle/any level yoga practice with emphasis on “let your Breath guide your Movement and your Movement be a Meditation.” Integrating a mind/body/breath connection in yoga postures will facilitate relaxation and lead to a more present, meaningful and peaceful state of living.
Barbara’s yoga training is in the Anusara school of yoga – Anusara means “flowing with grace” and “following your heart” and emphasizes universal principles of alignments. Studies show that our minds wander nearly 50% of the time, creating stressful situations that lead to chronic physical and mental illness. Integrating a mind/body/breath connection and yoga postures with relaxation can bring a more present, meaningful and peaceful state of living.
Judy Fuhrer, Temple Shaaray Tefila member, certified yoga instructor and Jewish educator – Invites our TST Family and Friends, to practice a simple and gentle – yoga class – connected with Jewish values.
