Seeking Serenity: During Covid 19

Learn to be mindful and let go of what we can’t control

Sunday, April 26th at Noon

Our next mindfulness/relaxation program will be for the “Elders”. It will be of particular interest to “empty nesters “ and “adults at leisure.”  It will be geared toward the particular challenges we face during Covid. We’ll discuss fears regarding fragile health; technological confusion; personal losses; worries about the future… and how we can obtain serenity and let go of what we can’t control.

See Calendar for Zoom Information.

For over 25 years Andrea Gordon LCSWR has been presenting stress reduction/ meditation programs to hospitals, schools and private patients throughout the county. Her Cd “Journey to Inner Peace” has helped many hundreds reduce stress. She holds 2 Masters degrees, was on faculty of Fordham University Graduate School and has a private practice in Pleasantville.  Her 3 adult children were all B’nai mitzvah at Temple Shaaray Tefila.

She is happy to present to our members an online group experience addressing simple ways to practice letting go of worry/anxiety and things that are out of our control.

Mindfulness/relaxation/meditation techniques to help us cope with stress and learn to let go of what we cannot control  and concern over the illness and challenges we now face.
