Passover is right around the corner so it is once again that time when we start planning the Community Seder for Persons with Disabilities, in conjunction with Westchester Jewish Community Servces (WJCS) Havorah Program.
The event will be held at TST on Wednesday, April 1st from 6pm to 8pm and is a coordinated effort of volunteers from our congregation, as well as several area synagogues, working together to make the evening memorable for our guests. In addition to serving a delicious, traditional Passover meal,
the Rabbis will lead a short service as we commemorate the biblical story of Exodus, and there will be a lively performance from Kenny Green's Westchester Klezmer Program's youth ensemble.
Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success. We will need helpers for follow-up with businesses that are donating food and other items, drivers to pick up those donations and deliver them back to TST, kitchen helpers and table leaders at the Seder, as well as set-up and
clean-up volunteers. TST religious school students will work as servers throughout the night.
If you have time to do just one task (or more!) it will be greatly appreciated!
