Feed your hungry travel bug and enjoy something different to fight the “stuck-at-home” doldrums! A guided tour of Israel in a “virtual bus” with fellow congregants, sponsored by the Jewish National Fund – one hour (with an optional second hour) each day for 4 days with a special program the 5th day. Only $50 per household for the week and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Israeli tour guide!
The Israeli guide will be sure to include something for everyone, whether you have already visited Israel or are a first-timer. In addition to all of the fabulous sites we are already familiar with (Western Wall! Masada!), there are exciting new archeological discoveries, new installations – art and otherwise…so many things! The guide will be live, the visuals will be photos and videos.
The tour will be fun for all ages – adults, children, and teens!
With everyone tired of doing the same old thing during the pandemic, this virtual tour offers a welcome change. And the best part is the Israeli tour guide (who is out of work because tourism has dwindled to almost nothing) will earn 100% of the revenue generated from this tour. So, you are supporting an Israeli guide and staying connected while having a great time with old and new friends.
Beginning on November 9th, the guide will lead the tour Monday-Thursday 4pm-5pm. At 5pm, a JNF professional will take over and lead an optional discussion for one hour. On Friday at 4pm, there will be a special program provided by the JNF.
Each day will be different, so missing a day or two still means a great experience live via ZOOM.
AND – you’re doing a mitzvah. This costs only $50 PER HOUSEHOLD, and all the money goes DIRECTLY to the guide. You can imagine what this means with Israeli tourism at zero.
