In an effort to keep all students safe at arrival and dismissal, we ask that all drivers adhere to the following:
Arrival:
· Arriving students may either be brought into the building or be dropped off at the curb at the entrance to the school building · Follow the flow of traffic by driving around the circle and pulling up to the school building so that the passenger side of the car is by the curb (click on the protocol/maps link above to view the diagram) · Pull all the way up alongside the curb so that cars may line up behind you · Do not park your car along the curb; if you do need to park, please do so in one of the designated parking spaces or in the lower lot · Do not block the emergency entrance/exit by the basketball hoops
Dismissal: · All students will be escorted by teachers to the lower parking lot for dismissal. Teachers will wait with the students and supervise them until they are picked up. · Follow all posted directional arrows as the parking lot is designated for cars to go in one direction. Please pull in and around the circle so all traffic flows one way. (click on the protocol/maps link above to view the diagram) · Do not double park; all cars waiting for dismissal must be in a regular parking space · All parents MUST get out of the car and pick up children in the designated area where they are waiting with their teachers. Children will not be allowed to proceed by themselves to your parked car. · Be extremely careful and attentive when backing out of your space to leave, as many children and parents are still walking to their cars.
