ECC Expands Their Parenting Center
Are you a parent who’s ready to engage your child in a fun and stimulating environment? Are you ready to make new friends? Do you ever find yourself wondering where to find the unwritten manual on how to be an amzing parent? Well, the ECC’s Parenting Center might be the place for you.
Coming this Fall, the ECC is happy to announce the expansion of the Parenting Center. Inside you will find a warm, healthy Jewish learning environment where infants, toddlers and their parents learn through play and exploration. Our activities are carefully designed so that children enjoy themselves, use their imagination, play creatively and develop their cognitive skills. We believe that the teaching of Jewish values, traditions and ritual starting at an early age is also very important. Some of the programs you will find include:
- Parkbench - a mommy and me class led by a social worker who will guide the parents in discussion while a teacher engages the children in art, music, play, etc.
- Parkbench Plus - a class designed to help prepare mother & child for pre-school
- Art Smart - art class for toddlers 16-24 months)
- Shabbat Friends - activities that celebrate this joyous holiday
- Mommy and Me Yoga - stretch, strengthen and connect with your baby).
- Music Together - each class includes songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement & instrument play.
"I loved the mommy and me class," said Wendy Kaplowitz, a mom of an almost 2 year old. "Seeing my child participate in all the activities and having lots of fun too made me realize that my daughter is ready to make that separation into the 2’s program in the Fall."

We would love to add you to our growing family. Classes will begin the week of September 27th and will run until December 22nd. Please contact Hope Blauner at hblauner@verizon.net, she would love to answer all your questions.
