Education at Temple Shaaray Tefila

Education at Shaaray Tefila is a lifelong journey. Our Early Childhood Center introduces toddlers between the ages of two and four to the joys of Jewish holidays and celebrations while providing the early education that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Our Religious School embodies our Temple’s commitment to providing our children, from kindergarteners to high school seniors, with a Jewish education that is second to none. Supported by a highly dedicated and skilled team of faculty, administrators and madrachim, our Religious School helps our youth gain a greater understanding of their Hebrew heritage, language and values. And the Shaaray Tefila Youth Group, ToaSTy, keeps our teens involved in Temple life and helps them to strengthen their Jewish identities. From tzedakah activities such as Midnight Runs to retreats at Eisner Camp and just-for-fun celebrations such as the annual Chocolate Seder, our youth programs inspire our children to live the Jewish values of tzedakah, mitzvot, k’lal yisrael (one Jewish community) and kavod (respect).
